When we ran the Shelter 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, that was 8,760 hours we were open. Now we are a day-shelter only, and are open 52 weeks a year, five (5) days a week for at least nine (9) hours a day which comes to 2,340 hours. That's still time to get a meal, a shower, receive clothes, toiletries, make a phone call or use the computer. We also assist with obtaining necessary documents for employment or housing, and more.

Keep the Lights On!

$50 / Day - Keep the Lights On! Our utilities of gas and electric add up. This amount keeps the utilities running one more day.

Meals for a Month!

$126 / Month - Meals for a Month! One client can receive 3 meals a day plus a snack. If you calculate a month to be 21 days, $2.00/meal, 3 meals a day x 21 days = $126.00 per person, and that's if your very frugal.
